Want to contribute to Boomspeak?

We are looking for 400 word essays, fiction, and travel pieces, as well as photography that would be of interest to baby boomers. Boomspeak is FOR baby boomers and BY baby boomers, so no writers or photographers under 50 years of age, please.

All the contributions must embrace the site motto: “Your whole life’s in front of you.” Boomspeak is about possibilities, about the vital and energizing things you can do with the second half of your life.

Send all submissions in the body of your message to input@boomspeak.com. We cannot accept attachments. Be sure to give us a byline for your contribution, including an optional affiliation link (e.g. to your own website or to a site where your work is published). Sorry, but we can include only one link.

Photography may be emailed as compressed 72 dpi JPEG files of 200k or less, or you can direct us to photos that are currently published online. We are interested in the unusual point of view (call it quirky if you like). Conventional travel photos are absolutely not wanted. Gallery exhibits are typically 10 images.

We will try to read or review every contribution, but that does not always mean you will receive a reply. Please don't be offended.
