The creators of BoomerEcards, Jim Fanzone and Jay Harrison, are both graphic designers and baby boomers. They also write, edit, and create a boomer portal known as BoomSpeak. The designers were looking for a way that boomers could communicate their feelings without going to the shock or sugar extremes, and the self-deprecating tone and empathy of BoomerEcards struck just the right tone.
